Highlights from today’s #Mastery call:
* Hosting a Family Week where parents take class too (instead of an Observation Week)
* Exploring Retention Ideas: hosting retention events, having a clear path of progression, a very personalized approach to placing students and recommending classes
* Using Google forms to collect the personalized recommendations from teachers (with their positive comments about each student!), then mail merging that into a personalized letter for each student
* Celebrating the huge impact of little tweaks in the WOW factor
* How focusing on retention gets results
* Moving from hiring when you need someone to more of a “pipeline” mentality of hiring (ie, always looking and sometimes hiring before you have to)
* Hosting a job fair as a way to attract new applicants
